Project description: This 1926 kitchen may have worked well at
the time but, was behind in terms of the lifestyle of our world
today. The goal was to add functionality and warmth, while
preserving the traditional style of the kitchen. This was
accomplished by relocating the work centers and using a creative
blend of materials and colors. The project features maple cabinets
with inset doors, granite counter tops, a full height tile backsplash,
an apron sink, hardwood flooring, and traditional mill work.
Project description: This quaint little home offered many
amenities, with the exception of the kitchen. Load bearing walls
were removed to convert the existing 1940’s 9’ x 11’ kitchen to a
9’ x 17’ modern design. The project included updated electrical
and mechanical systems, recessed lights, under-cabinet puck
lights, natural Maple cabinets, Caesarstone solid surface counter
tops, integrated stainless steel sink with single lever pullout
faucet, new appliances, and white oak hardwood flooring.

kitchen was the only way to go for this Golden Valley couple. The
space was demolished down to the studs. Additional insulation was
added in the attic before building a new, raised ceiling. The space
features new cabinets, granite countertops, ceramic tile at the floor
and backsplash, new appliances, a new lighting scheme, and a
Pella french patio door.

cabinets with a center island and integrated cook-top, Corian
counters with a seamless sink, new appliances, recessed lighting,

Project description: The home had an awkward and unusual
shaped kitchen that didn't provide much cabinet space for a
growing family. The existing kitchen was combined with a 9' x 24'
addition by removing load bearing walls. The new space also
allowed for a mud room next to the kitchen. The dining room was
repositioned at a 45-degree angle to allow for French doors,
traffic flow, and an island. The electrical system was updated and
oak cabinets were installed along with laminate counter tops,
new appliances, high-grade vinyl flooring, and Marvin windows
and doors. A hutch was added for extra storage and a center
island was created to allow for an eat-in kitchen to compliment a
formal dining room.

final touch to liven up the old space.
