Project description: This Cape Cod style home
was in need of updates to bring out its true
aesthetic appeal. The project consisted of
removing the existing deck and the porch walls.
A creative design initiated by multiple magazine
clippings from the client led to an award-winning
project. By increasing the size of the deck and
adding some design features, such as cedar
shake siding, pergola, tonge and groove ceiling
in the porch, large support posts, and color
scheme we end up with a design that fits in
perfectly with the style of the home.

family wanted to add a
gathering space that would
act as an extension of their
small living room. A screen
porch with a deck was built
in place of the existing
patio. It features Armstrong
Home Style ceilings, cedar
decking and railings, and a
large 8 foot patio door
adjoining the living room.
Project description: With a
beautiful wooded lot and an
abundance of wildlife, the
standard small deck just wouldn't
do. This couple decided on a large
stucture with character,
something that would look more
like and extension of the house.
Structural lumber was needed for
supporting the new porch that is 3
times the size of the old deck.
Structural tongue and groove
decking is complimented with
tongue and groove siding and
ceilings. The beams and posts
were dressed up to match the
style of the existing house and
stainless steel rods were used as
railings for maximum visability.

family wanted a
maintenance free deck
to replace an old and
worn wood deck. A
Weatherbest composite
deck was designed and
installed overlooking the
nearby woods and pond.
Project description: Too often, the unpredictable
seasons and mosquitoes leave us too little time to
enjoy the wonderful evenings. So how do you
extend that precious time? Simple, you add a
porch and deck. This 12’ x 14’ 3-season porch
with 12’ x 10’ deck features Weathersbest
maintenance free decking, aluminum storm
windows, knotty pine walls and vaulted ceiling.
This was just the right combination to maximize
precious time and enjoy outdoor barbeques.
