Project description: This Plymouth family wanted a kid-friendly finished basement with a spacious Northwood's cabin feel. The room features a large fireplace installed with stone from floor to ceiling, pine carsiding, pine trim, a snack bar with a fridge, and laminate flooring. The bathroom was refinshed and two storage spaces with cabinets were created. |
Project description: These homeowners wanted Lake State Remodelers to complete their partially finished basement. There was already carpet and drywall on interior walls but they wanted the exterior walls and ceilings finished. One area of concern was an ugly support beam at the middle of the basement. Careful not to harm the existing finished areas, Lake State was able to seamlessly finish the new areas and wrap the support beam in oak so that it became a pleasant focal point of the room. |
Project description: This family decided that instead of buying a new home they would invest in their existing home by finishing the basement. They wanted individual space for each family member but also an open family environment. With some creative design, they were able to get 3/4 bathroom and mechanical room that did not impede on their individual or family areas. |
